Warranty Claims, Refund & Franchise Cancellation Policy

Active Detailing Studio

This policy defines the terms and conditions governing service bookings, warranty claims, liabilities, franchise fee payments, and cancellation procedures applicable to all customers, applicants, and franchise partners of Active Detailing Studio. By booking services, engaging with the company, or applying for a franchise, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Service Bookings

  • All service bookings made with Active Detailing Studio are strictly non-refundable and non-adjustable.

  • Once a service is booked and payment is made, the amount cannot be transferred, credited, adjusted, or reassigned to any other service, product, customer, or future booking.

  • Customers are advised to review the scope of services, pricing, timelines, and deliverables carefully before confirming any booking.

  • Rescheduling, where permitted, shall be subject to operational feasibility and company discretion.


2. Warranty Claims on Services

  • Warranty coverage applies strictly to the workmanship and service quality delivered by Active Detailing Studio.

  • Any bona fide warranty claim shall be assessed by the company’s technical and operations team.

  • Upon approval:

    • The claim will be settled only through service dues adjustments or issuance of credit notes.

    • No cash refunds shall be issued under any circumstances against warranty claims.

  • Credit notes:

    • Are non-transferable.

    • Must be used within the validity period specified at issuance.

    • Cannot be encashed or exchanged for cash equivalents.


3. Liability During Service Execution

Active Detailing Studio follows strict operational and safety protocols; however, certain risks remain inherent in automotive handling and movement.

3.1 General Liability

  • In case of any damage occurring during the rendering of service, the company’s liability shall be limited strictly to insurance file/processing charges only, wherever applicable.

  • The company shall not bear financial responsibility for repairs, replacements, depreciation, or consequential damages beyond the above.

3.2 Pick-Up & Drop Services

  • Customers are strongly encouraged to arrange their own vehicle pick-up and drop-off.

  • Pick-up and drop services provided by the company:

    • Are optional and chargeable.

    • Carry inherent transit risks.

    • Shall be undertaken at the customer’s acceptance of such risks.

3.3 Exclusions from Liability

Active Detailing Studio shall not be liable for:

  • Driving accidents occurring during pick-up or drop-off

  • Mechanical, electrical, or pre-existing vehicle issues

  • Third-party negligence

  • Acts of God including floods, storms, fire, natural disasters, or unforeseen environmental conditions


4. Franchise Fee, Deposits & Cancellation Policy

4.1 Non-Refundable Nature of Franchise Fee

  • Franchise fees paid to Active Detailing Studio are non-refundable in principle due to the allocation of business territory, planning resources, technical involvement, and administrative deployment.

4.2 Deposits for Franchise (Pre-Operational Stage)

  • If a franchise application is cancelled within two (2) weeks of submission:

    • A deduction of ₹25,000 + applicable taxes shall apply.

    • Balance funds, if any, may be processed in accordance with internal policies.

4.3 Cancellation After Site Visit & Drawing/Planning Stage

  • Where cancellation occurs after:

    • Site evaluations

    • Technical visits

    • Layout drawings

    • Business planning discussions

    A deduction of ₹1,00,000 + applicable taxes shall be applicable.

4.4 Cancellation After Two Months from Application/Engagement

  • If cancellation is requested after two (2) months from the date of application or engagement:

    • The full franchise fee of ₹2,50,000 + applicable taxes shall be payable and retained by the company.

    • The fee shall be charged at the standard published rate without any discounts, concessions, promotional offers, or negotiated reductions.

    • The assigned territory or operational area will be reopened for new applicants only after a cooling period of two (2) months.

4.5 Written Cancellation Requirement

  • All franchise cancellations must be submitted through formal written communication by the franchisee/prospect.

  • Requests made verbally, through informal messaging platforms, or via third parties shall not be considered valid.

4.6 Business Impact of Cancellation

Franchise cancellations result in measurable operational and financial losses, including:

  • Loss of man-hours

  • Deployment of planning and technical resources

  • Administrative processing

  • Opportunity cost due to blocked territory and delayed network expansion

Accordingly, the above deductions and fee retention policies are strictly enforced.


5. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

  • Any disputes, disagreements, or claims arising out of:

    • Service delivery

    • Warranty matters

    • Payments

    • Franchise engagement

    • Cancellation or contractual interpretation

    shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of courts located in Delhi, India.


6. Policy Updates

Active Detailing Studio reserves the right to amend, modify, or update this policy at any time without prior notice.
The latest version published on the official website shall be considered final and binding.
